This Smooth-As-Silk Blend Nods To Lustrous, Peacock Feather-Inspired Treasure In The Museum’S Holdings. In The Early 1890S, The Designer Developed A Method Of Blending Colors In Glass While It Was In A Molten State. He Called The Results “Favrile,” And Was Duly Celebrated For His Extraordinary Innovation.
