In May 1890, Just Before His Departure From The Asylum In Saint-Rémy, The Artist Painted An Exceptional Group Of Four Still Lifes, To Which The Museum’S Roses, (And Also Irises) Belong. These Stunning Bouquets Were Created By Van Gogh As A Thematic Quartet.
